The Chichester Friends Meeting: 1682 to the Present
Cyndi Charney is a local historian and researcher with a passion for local history. A resident of Upper Chichester since 1985, she has spent decades uncovering and preserving the township's history.
Lincoln's Quaker Ancestors and Their Tie to the American Revolution
Brenda Walker Beadenkopf is an author and journalist with decades of experience presenting Quaker history. She is a member of the Concord Friends Meeting and on the Board for Underground Railroad history sites in Vandalia and Cassopolis, Michigan.
Chichester Meetinghouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. This is a stone meetinghouse that was the place of worship for a Quaker community founded over 250 years ago. The community is no longer active and is under the care of Concord Monthly Meeting in Concordville.
